Change the Way Header Links Work on Your PTS: https://help.patronmanager.com/a/1265940

The header links on your Public Ticketing Site (PTS) help your patrons navigate to the tickets/subscriptions/memberships they need.

But if you don't sell subscriptions or retail, or if you want your memberships link to redirect to your own website, that's not particularly helpful! In this article, we'll show you how to redirect or remove these links.

Let's go!

PTS Header Links

1. Head to PatronTicket Settings via the PatronTicket Hub

PatronTicket Settings

2. Click Edit

Edit

3. Scroll down to the Public Site Settings section; we're looking at the "Events URL," "Subscriptions URL," "Memberships URL," and "Retail URL"

URL fields

For the Events URL field, you have two options:

  1. Leave as "/ticket" or "/ticket/": the link sends the patron back to your all events page of the PTS
    • The best option if you sell tickets online
  2. Enter any valid URL: the link sends the patron to that URL
    • We recommend this option if you want to send clients to your organization's website instead, or if tickets are only available over the phone

If you update the Events URL, you'll also update the "Add more items" buttons on the PTS.

For each of the Subscriptions URL, Memberships URL, and Retail URL fields, you've got three options:

  1. Leave it blank: the link sends the patron to your landing page for the respective item (i.e., Subscriptions, Memberships, or Retail) right here in the PTS
    • The best option if you sell subscriptions / memberships / retail online
  2. Enter "nolink" (without quotes): the link will not appear at the top of your PTS
    • Use this option if you don't sell subscriptions / memberships / retail
    • Do not do this for the "Events URL"
  3. Enter any valid URL: the link sends the patron to that URL
    • We recommend this option if you want to send clients to your organization's website instead, or if subscriptions / memberships / retail are only available over the phone
