How to Add a Reseller Warning: https://help.patronmanager.com/a/2089633
If you're struggling with ticket resellers, we hear you.
The Reseller Warning embeds a prominent message at the top of the tickets page where you can display your reseller policy. This not only helps ticket buyers identify potential issues and contact the box office before arriving at the venue, but also makes forwarding the ticket link an ineffective method for resellers to distribute unauthorized tickets.
In this article, we'll go over how to add a Reseller Warning--let's jump in!
Use with delayed access to tickets for added security: When used with delayed access to tickets, resellers won't know when ticket access will be granted, making it harder to copy and distribute ticket details to buyers; and they won't be able to bypass that by sharing ticket links in advance, as the Reseller Warning prominently informs buyers that reseller-issued tickets may not be valid.
Adding a Reseller Warning
The Reseller Warning message appears on the Public Ticketing Site (PTS) when patrons click the link to view their tickets.
3. Under "Ticket Printing and Confirmation Email Settings" add a message to the Reseller Warning field
In addition to a warning about resellers, we also recommend including your organization's contact information so that patrons can get in touch with you to notify you about potential resellers.
If you choose to update the Reseller Warning in the future, please note that your change will take place immediately on the PTS for all existing and new Ticket Orders.
